Maybe someone could explain adminder to me. I signed up for guarnteed vistors and purchased 10,000. I did recieve these. In going through the 30 days to Success I understood that the vistors would go to my getresponse account. They did not. Am I wrong about that if so how do I get them in my auto responder?

The GV program uses pop-under advertisements. When someone visits particular sites, when they exit the site, they will see your pop-under ad, which invites them to subscribe to your autoresponder.

IF they do respond by subscribing, (opting in) then the link redirects them to the sales page and sends the subscription to Getresponse.

Getresponse will then ask them to confirm the subsdcription (double opt-in) - IF they confirm, then they will start receiving your newsletter series.

What is guaranteed is visitors - there is no way to guarantee that people will respond, or will confirm if they do choose to respond.

Unfortunately it doesn't sound like you had much luck with it and I am sorry - I don't think they are really very targeted or for some other reason do not seem to be effective.

I have tried several 'pop-under'/guaranteed visitors companies in addition to Adminder in the past, and had the same minimal results with all of them.

In the 30 days to success shouldn't be explained better or am I still missing something here. Like can I put a link in for a pop under without purchasing vistors. I understand that they have to be optin leads.

I guess I do not understand why adminder is promoted if it does not work

Jim - you don't need a pop-under because you have an opt-in form on your website for the newsletter already, as well as one on the sales page.

What you could use are the capture pages that are in the marketing section of your member services area - these are just the same sort of short pages like the one attached to GV program.

It is not that it doesn't work, it is just one of the many tools and techniques that may work. Everything about marketing is somewhat the same - no guarantees but people still use the techniques in the hope that they will work - at least a little bit.

Some people do not have time to do the work themselves and so they pay for things to be done for them. Like anything else in marketing as well, you put out a large amount of ads in the hope for conversions - even 1-2% is something - however it is how you personally see this ratio - some people have more time than money, others have more money than time - Even the 'big boys' think 1-2% is worth something - and if you have the volume then that can add up too.

Your best bet whether or not you use paid advertising is to focus most of your effort on the free methods that use search engine optimization through blog and article marketing.
These are very effective over time and do require a lot of effort unless you can afford help with this (submission services, ghostwriters, etc).

I too am at a loss for why Adminder is promoted if services like this are not successful.

I realize as you say there are varying results, but if the majority is that it will not work, why promote it, especially to the point where it has its own full day dedicated to it, especially when it costs so much, compared to some of the cheaper methods out there?

If the success is so limited, or even non-existent, why not promote more free methods? I have heard lots of free ideas in my other thread that would seem to have more success than AM, or at the very least not be a waste of money.

I dunno, just my thoughts. Perhaps when the days that are still missing from the training are filled in, I will have more resources with which to promote my site. Any idea when that will be completed?

I am sure Stone has his reasons for AM and like he says in the training we do not need to use all that he recommends. I am concentrating more an articles. This article writing is not easy for me as English was my worst subject in school. I am trying though. I have an Idea for a series of articles and have posted 5 0r 6 to goarticles.

I had a blog on google that I had not advertised except on go articles and I did ping it. I checked alexa last week and had 430,891 links in. Only problem was it ranked over 4 million.

My point is concentrate on articles even if you are not a writer.
