Hello Everyone, I hope everyone has had a wonderful week-end. I would very much appreciate anyone's help with an issue I'm having with my website not showing correctly in all browsers. I am using Firefox and my site loads perfect, but I have loaded in using Internet Explorer and when it loads my site goes off the screen on the right. I have gotten a message from some of the visitors to my site telling me that it goes off the screen in IE, safari and their phones. Can some one please advise me as to how I can fix that. I would also very much appreciate any advice you can give me on how to get my site to load faster. Thank you all very much in advance. Martha |

It may be that IE is not recognizing your code correctly, and is not validating it as proper XHTML. I just looked at your sie in IE8 and IE9 and it appears good to me. It also looks good in FF. Do you know the version of IE that you are having problems with? The older versions IE5 and IE6 are really bad when it comes to website validation. You might also want to check your website using the W3C Validator as this will tell you normally what codes you are using that may be incorrect. Go here and see if you can identify the code that is causing you issues in IE. The W3C Markup Validation Service Good luck. Allen Lundy |

Thanks Allen and Jeff for checking out my website for me. As I said, I use ff and my site looks good when loaded, but I did load it on a friends older computer they were using IE5 that could have been the problem there. As for the comments that I received on my blog regarding my site not showing well in Safari and IE I just feel that it's not true; especially after getting another comment from the same person today saying that is going off the page in google chrome. Again I thank you both very much for checking for me. Martha |

Firefox looks even better. IE 8 looks fine. All 3 load fast - (but IE takes forever to boot up - reminds me why I never use it). So your friends and commenters either have old versions of the browsers or inadequate display drivers... |

Pat I thank you again so very much you have made my day or night since it's almost 2:30am. I have been so worried that my site loads slow, but if you say it's fast then I'll take your word for it. I'll stop worrying about that now. I really appreciate everyone's help. Thank you all so very much. Good Night, Martha |

Than you Goleza I really appreciate you checking my site in all those various browsers for me. I'm sure all those comments were just spam, and the computer I checked my site on was a very old version of IE. Thanks again, Martha |

Hi Martha! On my side, using Firefox and Chrome your site looks great and I don't see any problem with it at all. |

Hey Martha; Your site looks great from where I stand. You are probably right about the spam or older browsers versions,if the latter is the case, people will have to upgrade on their own. "Don't worry be Happy" with your great site. Chow. Terry |

Hello Martha, maybe you must check your CSS. I have the same problem with you, I see my sites look well in FF but in IE is bad. So I fix the css problem and my sites is running well. But you must know that, all the computer screen depends on the VGA and OS. I have a friend told me that my site was look bad in FF, so I went to look his OS, and he was using Windows XP, and I use Windows 7. So I fix the CSS again with configure the code for any platform, browser and OS. I hope it can help you. Thanks, Ferryandi |

I think you need to make changes in your CSS because some browser doesn't support CSS values and properties and you have to make changes accordingly.

Your site looks really well on Firefox. The one thing that I want to mention is that it takes a little while to load so you need to make sure that all of your graphics are saved on your domain and not coming from all of the affiliate site. Overall your site looks really nice. |

I don't know why you guys say it is slow to load. Every time I have checked it loads right up in 10 seconds max for every graphic. |

Good Day All, Please I have two issues. This morning, when checking up my keywords in Google using Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox, I discovered that my site was on pages 19, 25 and 26 respectively. Particularly, I was downgraded (from 16th to 26th page in FF) just between last night and now. Is this normal? Secondly, more importantly, I observed that, in Internet Explorer, the appearance of my site menu and few other icons were in complete disorder. I would like to know if there’s anything I can do about it. Thanks. Anthony Eghosa |

It is normal for the page to flucuate - try to imagine 6,000,000,000 websites that are submitting content etc - and therein lies the reason I say you need to 'build and SUSTAIN your momentum' in everything you do for internet marketing. Your site looks just fine in IE - exactly the same as Chrome. Maybe you should see if you need to upgrade your IE version (check Help menu/about IE) - or you may have to tweek your display settings. |
