Inspirational Quotes for Encouragement – Post Yours

Hello, Warriors:

There is a quote I planned to share here and then I thought, why not start a thread where members can post similar inspirational thoughts and quotes? We had a thread like that at one time. I thought it would be nice to start a new one again.

Post your thoughts and quotes as the spirit moves you. If you want, simply post your quote and the source where it is from (that’s always important, when it is possible to do).

My quote is from the book, The Mind and The Brain, Neuroplasticity and the Power of Mental Force, by Jeffrey M. Schwartz, M.D., and Sharon Begley.

==> Really give this quote some thought and see how you can apply it to your Internet Marketing business this year:

“The task is ... not so much to see what no one has yet seen; but to think what nobody has yet thought, about that which everybody sees.” ~ Erwin Schrodinger

Now, Warriors, post yours!

GT :)

Hi GT,

I was recently reminded of one of my favourite quotes and mentioned it in another post (can’t remember where, I must be at that age LOL) and is very relevant to this forum and is from the famous scientist Isaac Newton who said:-

"If it appears that I can see further it’s because I am standing on the shoulders of giants". He obviously felt somewhat humbled by others who had helped him and who he had learned from.

After the help I have received from SFI, PIPS and more recently the brilliant PPG mentors I can relate to that as at various stages of our lives we have all relied on help from friends, family and business colleagues who have allowed us to stand on their shoulders.

best wishes,

Mal.

There comes a point in your life when you realize:

Who matters.

Who never did.

Who won't anymore...

And who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Greetings and Good Cheer Everyone!

Over the years I have found many quotes which have stirred varying degrees and types of emotions.

One of my favorites that, has stayed with and I think of often is by JAMES ALLEN from As A Man Thinketh. It is, "MY ENVIRONMENT IS A DIRECT MANIFESTATION OF MY THOUGHTS."

Thank you.

Hi GT:

Nice thought. The best quote excluding advice my parents gave over the years was on a job interview I had maybe two decades back. I didn't land the position but the advice has been utilized everyday. The quote was from the manager and he said "When I walk into a room my goal is to be the stupidest person every time. This way there is so much I can learn."

Thanks for letting me share that.

Perserverance makes the impossible meaningless.

I found the quote was written on a cigarette paper packet before I gave up, a bit ironic really 'cos I thought giving up smoking for good was impossible untill I read Dr Allen Carr's book.

Hi GT

Great idea. Here is one from Rosanna Ienco from her new book Awakening the Divine Soul - Finding Your Life Purpose

"If you have the courage to step outside of your comfort zone, you will not only be amazed by the marvel and sights of the world, but also with the wonders that lay deep within yourself."

Take care

A firm favourite of mine re: affirmations etc on their own

“Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot. .”

– Jim Rohn

But what we really need to ask ourselves is:

"In order to achieve my goal....

1. What do I need to STOP doing?

2. What do I need to START doing?

3. What do I need to DO MORE OF?"

My last contribution for inspiration:

Winners vs. Losers

A winner is always part of the answer.
A loser is always part of the problem.

A winner always has a plan.
A loser always has an excuse.

A winner says: "Let me do it for you."
A loser says: "That is not my job."

A winner sees an answer for any problem.
A loser sees a problem for any answer.

A winner sees a green near every sandtrap.
A loser sees two sandtraps near every green.

A winner says: "It may be difficult but it's possible."
A loser says: "It may be possible but it's too difficult."
