Can someone help with this I was told that I had a broken link. this was sent to me. My site is successfully submitted and crawled but have problem according to google webmaster tools. There are several pages pointing to a broken link. Now my problem is how do I find this and how do I fix this?? I need a step by step I am far from being expert at this. Thanks:confused: |

The first thing to do is click the link in your Google Webmaster Tools screen to see if it really is broken. GWT doesn't always get it right - for example there may have been a connection problem when GWT polled your site. It also may be a page or post (or a tag - anything) that you've deliberately deleted - in which case there's no problem. If the link is pointing to a genuine article (not something you've removed or which is now working again) then you'll need to fix it - but we can't help you with that without more details. You could check this tutorial for checking broken links using A1 Website Analyzer. (You will be able to see all pages linking to the broken URL including line numbers)
