Hi Guys,


I have customized my site original keywords and optimized it for “Home Based Business Opportunities”.


However, the text – Legitimate Work at Home Jobs & Opportunities – continues to appear on my home page. How do I delete this trash (and replace it with my selected keywords)?

I would say that you would need to go into the dashboard and go to the titles section and delete it and then add new

Thanks for your recommendation. But that was what I did before, and I have just tried it again. Yet, status quo remains.

Perhaps I did not state the problem clearly. If you check out my site (from the link below) you'll see the text "Legitimate Work at Home Jobs & Opportunities" at the top left (immediately before the menu icons). How do I go about removing it?

You need to wait until Stone puts out the videos for using the ePanel that comes with the theme.

You picked a very popular keyword phrase and I hope you did the research as you would be better off with something more unique.

Further, the reason Stone had me put that 'trash' on your site is because a 'million' PIPS sites have Home Business Opportunities or Home Based Business Opportunities.

You will find that the Title field in Wordpress settings will not show on your theme so you may as well just take my advice and wait.

As i can see your site it is not optimized for “Home Based Business Opportunities" ,to optimize it you need to repeate your keyword “Home Based Business Opportunities" in bold , so it will be easy for search engine to find your site to rank it in the (SERP).

by the way you chose a very high competetions keyword , and it need a lot of work and time to rank for this keyword .

you can see my site as example it took from me about 5 months and a lot of works ( i build 1000s of backlinks - now showing in google just about 7000 ) and my site rank in google ( now dancing between page #1 & #2 ) for my keyword Easy Way To Make Money Online .

My advice if you just start you can control, and chose a good and low competetions keyword , so it will be easy to rank for it .

I can't thank you enough for this thoughtful advice.

I did not expect getting it ranked high in search engines to be that tough. I'll get I a knew, less competitive one as soon as possible. Your suggestion is also welcome in this regard because I really want to fast-track my PR at the earliest opportunity.

If I get a new keyword phrase, do I have to resubmit my sitemap to Google?

Anthony - the sites I like are two

the first one is the Google Adwords tool - you can see how much competition there is for the phrase.

You might start searching just 'home business' and then it will come up with long tail phrases like home business ideas, home business opportunities, home business online, making money with home business etc.

You do not want the highest searched (most popular)

You also do not necessarily want the lowest searched (least competitive)

You should get one about in the middle or at the high end of middle.

It's okay. Why I wanted to replace it was to make my site peculiar as well as align it with my keywords since I do not know whether the text is unique to my site or a generic item on all PIPS sites?
