Hi Guys,

I joined PIPS in July and since then I have tried to put in somethings and take out others from my site. This is allowed right??. In the process I have messed up my website and it needs some repairing. Can I get help with that.

I also would like to hear fair assessment of my progress. In these three months, my site has been on pages 3,4,5 in Google for the keyword that I chose for my title, although I realise the home page is not optimised for the keywords I would like it to be ranked for.

I would contact Pat thru the help desk before as she should be able to fix it for you. I would do it sooner than later. Is your home biz site backed up thru Wordpress?

I can only give you a new site in the latest version.

My technical support is limited to installations and helping you make changes when Stone adds or removes a program.

This is a free service.

However, I do not do custom design or repair nightmares. even on Halloween.

Note - I DO NOT RESTORE SITES (only recovery possible is a NEW SITE IN THE LATEST VERSION) -

Note: that this is why you should have made regular backups of your site - Then you could restore it yourself to before you made the mistake(s), or have pipsitehelp.com do a restore.

I may or may not be able to keep your existing blog content, depending on whether your site is messed up beyond recognition (I can't get to Wordpress Admin) or not -

If you can get to Wordpress dashboard, then I can just work on the new theme. If not, then I have to reinstall Wordpress and you will lose your post content and any custom design you may have added. The only alternative in this situation is to pay Darrin at pipsitehelp.com to fix your problem for you.

Thanks for responding.I am not sure if it is really a haloween nightmare. I am learning some HTML and I will try to get further help. I just asked because in my first or second day of 30 day PIPS training, Stone said we can be free to work on the website (wordpress) and if we get into trouble we will get help. I just wanted to remove some excess information, with my limited HTML understanding and somethings turned out awkward.Thanks again

I assure you that what Stone means is I can give you a new site or "restore" your site to the new version only.
