Heads up on mentioning PTC sites
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi
I noticed recently some posts referring to PTC sites.
Be aware, it is against adsense terms of service, you should not link out to any of these sites on pages where you have adsense. I learned this a while back thro ezine articles guidelines, where basically they dont permit even a mention of PTC in articles.
Just a friendly heads-up, dont get into adsense trouble.
Regards
Brian

Good advice. There are plenty of horror stories from marketers here at the WF that had their GA accounts banned for this reason. Also, sites that previously did "not" make use of PTC can change at a later date that "do" make use of PTC.

My own way of avoiding problems with GA Policy has always been to only link out to "partner sites" wherein we all follow the rules.

Thanks, I suspect so.
Do you mean that safelists also are incompatible with Adsense?

Safelists - as in "lists containing email addresses of individuals which have agreed to receive email from the other members of the email safelists" ?
Well, different thing, i think, but not incompatible.
I was referring to programs like Neobux, or any of those incentive programs where people get tiny payments to click stuff. Adsense definitely does not like those.

PTC - paid to click

Get paid for clicking ads, emails, etc.

Nothing at all related to safe lists.

I started a topic like that here. But I am not involved with PTC. I just asked what to do with these PTC people whom I find them hard to persuade in joining good online business opportunities like PIPS. I'd like to thank you guys for reminding me to not even mention PTC in my posts to avoid having problems with Google AdSense. Thanks!
