Question b4 I signup 4 Pips please
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello all:
This is my 1st post however I have been a lurker to Warrior Forums for about a month now...great site.
Today I noticed this forum for the PlugInProfit site. I recently came across the site & thought about maybe it was something I'd like to try,
BTW I am a noob...been reading anything & everything I come across concerning affiliate marketing for a few months now.
OK my question-
If I were to sign up for this can I use one of the freebie website/hosting services for this? I have been working on one of these sites (000webhost.com)as well as a blog, I'm really broke right now so until I make a few dollars ( & I will make it...) I am going to use a free service until I can upgrade.

And now that I am no longer a lurker, you'll start seeing asking questions as I have MANY questions.
Thanks
Theadora

HI Theodora.

We do require either Host4Profit or HostGator to build you a site.

Host4Profit is $24.95 per month

HostGator is $4.95 for one domain - I would adivse the $7.95 where you can host unlimited domains.

You also need to register a domain - (average $10 per year) anywhere and point the DNS to either hosting company.

I hope this won't dissuade you - I do know what broke means though - when I started out, I had to make trade offs - like which is more important - starting a business or going out to lunch, buying new clothes, buying a DVD, going to a movie, having my hair done.

This was actually how I found I was serious about this because the business was more important than any of those things.

I figured out I was saving $500 a month just by not going to a day job - gas, bridges, lunches, etc.

Anyway - I hope you get my point and that you will join us.

Pat

Hi Theodora:

Free hosting is not good, because some of them are blacklist of the major ISPs and another good reason is that some search engines do not even consider free hosting in their rankings, so you will never receive free traffic from them.

HostGator and Host4profit are well known hosting providers.

Regards,

Ramiro Trevino

Hi Theadora,

Welcome to the Warrior family, you have tapped into the best resource on the internet. The members here are awesome and it was the luckiest day for me when I was introduced to this site by Stone Evans.

Pat is spot on as she usaully is, we know our place LOL, most of us start off with nothing or very little and try to build to a position where we can slacken the rains a little and maybe spend a little on advertising perhaps but there is no getting away from two basic things, buying your domain name and hosting your site.

After that you can get into all sorts of free advertising by writing articles for your website or your blog, classified ads, offline marketing to your friends, flyers in your local shops or car parks, or whatever but you cannot escape the cost of your domain and hosting. Whatever you do, every success to you, work hard and you will get there. it may take a while but you can do it.

regards,

Mal.

Wow that was fast.
Well I had a feeling that the free website hosting thing
wasn't going to be a good.
You get what you pay for!
Well now I have a plan of action.
Thank you all so much for sharing your knowledge & of
course for the encouragement.
I'll be around, soon as I get set up with the Pips I'll check in.
Now I'm off to peruse the other boards.

Hi Theadora,

Welcome to the PIPS forum. Glad to have you join us here today.

I would use Host4profit because they give you a lot of space to build as many sub sites as possible.

If you treat this business like a BUSINESS and not like a HOBBY, then you will be suprised at how well it can work for you too. Take massive action and COMMIT to it and you will succeed sooner or later.
