Hi Stone, I am Prahalad a proud member of PIPS. I would like to bring to your kind attention that my website, Proven Home Business and Work at Home Ideas and Opportunities has currently achieved a Google Page Rank of 1/10 within a very short span of time. I am getting subscribers also, but no effective sales so far. I would like to know the reasons for not getting effective sales and also your advice on the same. I would appreciate if you can kindly look into this matter and help me to get my first effective sales. Thanking you. Yours truly, |

Hi Prahalad, Congratulations on getting a PR1. To get sales you need traffic. There are many ways to get traffic: Article marketing, forum posting, blogging and commenting on blogs. Create your own squeeze page and promote it. My suggestion is to choose different keywords for you website SEO, because these keywords are used by most of new PIPS members and are useless. Do a keyword research, choose targeted but uncompetitive phrase and optimize your home page. Suzanne has a great SEO service and she can help you. As for the rest, keep doing what you do, your PR will grow, grow your backlinks and you will see the results. Tanny |

Well done on getting your PR1. Page rank on its own does not equal traffic. To get traffic from the search engines you will also need to research your keywords and optimize your home page for your chosen keywords. If you chose a keyword that does not get many searches per month you will not get many visitors. If you choose a keyword that is too competitive it will take longer as you may need to build hundreds or thousands of backlinks to rank for that keyword. You can research your keywords using the Google Keyword tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal Choose "all countries and territories", enter a few keywords and you will get a list of these keywords and some related keywords along with the number of searches per month. Choose "Exact" from the pull down menu on the right to get the results for each of these exact keyword phrases. As Tanny mentioned above there are many alternative ways of getting traffic. It is good to use a mixture of 2 or 3 techniques to get traffic. Cheers, Suzanne |

Traffic does not always equal sales, and PR definitely does not equal sales. All traffic is not created equal. Social bookmarking traffic, for example, has always been a low seller for me due to the fact that many of these people have technical skills and have ad blocker programs installed. I can get high traffic from submitting to these technically minded sites but rarely any conversions. Good organic traffic has provided me with the most conversions... do more SEO and target for keywords is my advice! This should raise your PR, your traffic, and your conversions. |
