Hey Everybody, My name is Amber Daniels. I signed up with the Plug-In Profit Site about 2 weeks ago and I'm new to the whole forum thing. I have made it through about the first 15 days of the 30 Days to Success Guide and think that I understand everything up until that point. But, now I am confused. I have no experience with marketing/internet marketing or affiliate marketing. Don't get it twisted, I'm not an ediot, but I don't know/understand what I'm suposed to do about/with SFI, Traffic Swarm, Clickbank, Empowerism,Web Prosperity, and Host4Profit. ![]() ![]() Sincerely, Amber Daniels |

Hi Amber - Welcome to Information Overload - we have all been there. What is recommended at this point is to focus only on completing the training and implementing as many marketing techniques as you can to promote your sales page and your website. We advise you not to worry about the other programs. By promoting your Plug-In Profit Site and sales page, you are promoting all 5-6 programs with one effort. Later on after you finish the training then it would be a good idea to just take one program at a time and log in and see what they offer you in the way of resources, compensation plan, and what they are about - just an overview is all that you need right now. Still later, you may or may not wish to specialize in one or more of those programs and promote them individually as well as your PIPS business. Just take one day at a time as they say. Don't forget to rest and get away from it all as well. Get away from the computer for a few hours or even a whole day now and then. It will really make you more efficient. Good luck. Pat |

You just have to give everything time to work. Marketing is about momentum - building it and sustaining it by taking consistent action OVER TIME. Set a budget you can live with and stick to it. Blog and submit articles for free frequently. Participate in forums -see the tech tips & advice and/or forum rules on how to set up your forum signature so you will be getting backlinks when you post. When you get done with the 30 Days to Success training, learn about SEO - another free strategy. Just don't try to digest everything at once - take one thing at a time. #1 resource is the training #2 resource is this forum #3 resource is the helpdesk You are not alone and the best place is right here to ask questions, and to get advice and encouragement. Keep the fighting spirit and ignore the dream stealers. |

Hi Amber, Welcome to PIPS ![]() First take a deep breath and relax. We all stated at the same point, just like you. Pat gave you a good advice an let me add: Go through the 30 day guide and learn from it, without taking any action. Then go through it again and try to follow one tip at a time. You don't have to spend money to make it, but it takes time, you are only in your second week. Success is a learning process, you need to learn to walk before you run. Good luck Tanny |

Good advice tplahav, I wish I had that before I started, I didn't join all the programs, but did buy the hits and a couple of other "offers", what a waste of money. I would also advise you to read and re-read the 30 days training, remember all of these are not for everyone, they are a guide. You do not have to put all these in place at once, start with the ones you can already do (or have the smallest learning curve, probable must haves are blogs and article writing with HTML to change some of your pages if you have not done them already a very nice to have. Remember, there is plenty of help available for free (just check through this forum), apart from the various memberships (approx $100) per month, the only difference between paying for services and doing it for free, is your time taken to do them (including learning how in some cases). |

Hi Amber This is good advice - and don't worry - we've all been there! It really is overwhelming at first, but just take it a bit at a time and things will become clearer. I've also sent you a PM. Ros |

Hi Amber Welcome to PIPS. Some great advice has already been offered and I'll just add ..... take it slowly and don't think you must complete the training in 30 days. Go at your own pace and be sure to set yourself a monthly budget. Good luck. Cheers for now Cyn |

The only thing I suggest is that you read everything slowly and take your time. I know that it is a little overwhelming for you but that is what you need to do. Take your time and if you have specific questions, then come here to the forum and many of us will gladly help you out. Tal |

Hello Amber, I just started PIPS only a week ago. I look at all the information as and elephant, and how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. You have already had great advise earlier in this thread, I just want to encourage you to keep at it, one bite at a time. Take Care, |

Hi Amber, Welcome aboard PIPS. You have gotten some very good advice here. Work at your pace....the one thing I would stress is this: "Work this as a business not a hobby" You will go farther this way... Take care Jeff Casmer |

Amber, what it all boils down to is traffic.... Getting your site in front of as many people as possible is what you need to focus on. I know Stone tells you that in the training but the old ways of promoting the dinosaur static PIPS HTML site you currently have is all wrong. I've kept my mouth shut for too long and now it's time to lay it all out.... With PIPS you do get a website setup for free, but... It is Exactly the same as all the other PIPS sites setup with the same content, same SEO (or lack of) and the same look as all the others... pay for a wiz-bang upgrade to a Maga Site? Guess what everyone else who paid for that upgrade has the exact same site as you and the same lack of traffic to it. Use the PIPS training to learn with your wallet shut, completely shut! Figure out what programs you want to stay in and then NUKE your cookie-cutter PIPs site and make your own website based on what you want to promote and don't be afraid to branch out. After you "get it" next you need to learn how to change the website, and in my opinion throw it away and don't add a lame Blogger blog to it as Stone tells you, Blogger sucks, use WordPress... Blogging with the right platform, the right way is probably the single most important thing that the PIPS training doesn't tell you. In fact you can generate more traffic with just a WordPress blog (that's basically free) on your main domain than the cookie cutter PIPS site that will take you forever to get any traffic to, or cost you hundreds. Use the PIPS training to determine what you want to focus on, and by all means change your site to be unique. Find you niche and run with it on your own. Stone does provide a good base but don't be like the Obamaites with your hand out...Absorb the training and go out on your own and make it on your own, only you can make your own future by not being a follower with your hand out but by being a trailblazer. |
