New Forum Problems?

Is anyone else experiencing either of these states:

1. Almost every post I make duplicates

2. Sometimes when I haven't posted anything for hours, it will say 'this forum requires you to wait 30 seconds between posts; please wait 30 seconds before posting again'.

3. When I click the 'edit' button it spins and spins until I click it 2 or 3 times in rapid succession.

#1 is driving me nuts :rolleyes:

No Pat mine has been good. Have however had some issues with just plain being slow, but that is my site and blog once in a while. I find it doesn't do it as much tho, if I restart computer once in a while.

Had noticed a couple of your posts being doubles, wondered what was up.LOL

But the forum is the one thing I haven't had issues with lately.

I did log on once today and my screen rolled for about 2 seconds no problem since.

Hi Pat,

It has happened to me on occassion, but not very often.

But, given the massive amount of posting that you do, if it is going to happen to somebody, the odds are, it will be you

I am not sure what would cause that. I have not had any trouble. Maybe check with admin on that one. You would not want to get banned or something.

Hi Pat,
It happened to me once when the connection was very slow and I double clicked the submit button. Did you do that same mistake?

Hi, Pat:

I haven't had this problem. My only aggravation at present is how long the system takes to parse the links in a post I am drafting.

When we include a web link in our post then click "Preview," the system checks the link then converts it to hypertext using meta tags or site title or whatever. That always takes a minute ir two. During that time, I do some of my best Internet Marketing multi-tasking!

I have broadband connectivity - hey maybe it is my Dual processor - lol - dual, get it?

Maybe it is something with my Moderator functions .

...or because I often repeat myself, now I have created an echo. lol
