Quick Question from a Newbie
Share on:

Good morning - I am working through day 16 (Paul's backlinks) right now and I have a question for anyone who has completed this step...

After registering for the site and updating the profile with the correct link, anchor text etc, do you then have to post something in that forum in order to get the back link?

Thank you!

You don't have to post a comment. But, if you do...make sure it is relevant to the post you are commenting on. Don't write stuff like...I agree 100%...or something like that.

From my understanding chooch is correct try to make your post relevant to the text and understandable to other readers.

No you don't have to make a post or a comment but as the other guys wrote it you do, it has to be relevant can not be just a short "quickie" comment.

Working back links is tough. I am doing that myself with paul's quality back links.
Run a search for keywords on google and find blogs that pertain to your niche. Find the hottest blogs with most traffic and post on their and place a link back to your website or blog and you will get traffic going your way. There is a lot more you can do and not pay.
Good luck
Marilu

Many forums require a certain number of posts before you are allowed to have a signature displayed. This is to prevent spammers from signing up just to get backlinks.
