It's a sad day for me... ok not really sad... but it will be a little strange for a while... I just cancelled my Success University membership after 4 years of being with them. Yep, 4 years! I was in SU before Stone Evans was in it and before it was ever integrated into PIPS. I've actually thought about cancelling for a while now but didn't want to because it was on PIPS. Now that it's no longer on PIPS, I have decided to say goodbye to it. There was a time when I was making around $1500 - $2000 per month from Success University and loved the program. If I remember correctly, I made over $15,000 with them my first year. But those days are long gone. It started becoming almost impossible to get people to join and even harder to get them to stay. Now, I don't even make enough to cover my monthly fee so I am done. Goodbye Success University, it was nice knowing you!!! |

Hi Trent, I feel your pain. The people I enroll never stick around. I actually canceled my account yesterday with only one paying member. The rest left. I enjoyed the membership and value, but the retention is not there which really hurts this opportunity. I hate to see it go, but enough is enough. Take Care, Alan |

Don't get us wrong, it's still a good program. If you're into personal development you may like it. They do provide excellent motivational and marketing material as well. All of that is good stuff. The business opportunity side and the high price tag is less impressive. |

Hi Trent, Sad to hear that but totally agreed that it's not easy to get ppl to stay or even join SU nowadays. I am quite surprised that you are leaving SU because I seen your name in the "Spotlight of Leadership" page where you are actually a Director in SU.... Jinmin |

Hi trent, I'm sorry to hear that you have left SU, and wow!!, after 4 years it must have been a rench but as we all know in IM, if it aint working move on. It's really sad because SU obviously provide some great training materials and motivational stuff and I wish they did have a bigger retention rate then maybe Stone would not have dropped it. For my own part I never did join, not because I didn't want to but in the early days I couldn't justify the high cost of joining or at least it seemed high to me just starting off. best wishes, Mal. |

Hi Trent, Yes!!! I was first introduced to SU not via Stone but through you seeing it in your signature file from another forum we both frequent and I know you have been a member for a very long time..... Take care Jeff Casmer |

Success University represents exactly what is wrong with most network marketing programs. People join primarily for the income opportunity and never become attached to the product line. Then when the money is not there they quit because they don't care about the product. That is my total barometer at this point for me personally. I will not join any MLM program unless I feel I can personally benefit from the product. Then even if I'm not making any money I can stick with it because I like the product. I'm just like Trent in that I had a large SU downline and made decent money with it for almost 2 years. But as the group fell apart I lost interest in it because I was not using the product line. |

I didn't feel anything because I never join SU since I started PIPS. but will Empowerism , SFI later have the same fate as SU in PIPS? I am just wandering. |

The cost to maintain both SFI and Empowerism is lower (approx. $50 for 2 programs) and moreover both offers value to the members. I am also a member of GDI and if you ask me, the attrition rate is very low and am still making profit today. It costs only $10/month and most are not mind to continue with the program although the product offered is not that attractive. I personally like SFI and have seen many PIPSter successful with this company and being featured in President Club. Good Luck | |

Hi, Trent and everybody: I haven't cancelled SU yet, but it is on my list. I haven't made any money with it, but the products are so excellent! My bug with SU is that ALL of the marketing materials are focused on sponsoring business opportunity affiliates. I believe there is a HUGE consumer market for the products - people NOT interested in the business opportunity - but you have to drag them all through the business opportunity stuff first and I don't want to do that for that particular group of prospects. I could not find anywhere in SU where you could simply present the product and a subscription offer APART from the business opportunity. GT |
