Hello, PIPS Warriors:

I can't seem to post in the PIPS forum today, so this is just a test to see what happens. Has anybody else been having trouble?

Unofficially and traditionally with this forum application that was a result of maintenance.

Some functions to include posting were temporarily qued, but the posts we made during specific time-frames are now visible.

What a mess!

I much preferred this way of being locked out - where I could see the forum and could tell something was going on - when I get the one where you can't come in at all (timed out/can't be found, etc) I am much more stressed out about it.

I was in the OT forum and trying to post the same post several times before I gave up and yes it posted the same post today over and over - (but only about half as many times as I tried, thankfully. So not too bad to delete them all (except 2)

It is actually good to have 'forced retirement' from here once in a while - For me, because I am here 'monitoring' that gives me the excuse to go and see what is going on in the OT. I sure waste a lot of time in that place.

... But then again, there have been several times that I got world news there almost instantly - so that is the usual excuse to go and check 'the back fence', hang around at 'the water cooler' etc...

I agree, Pat: Being locked out like that was much better on the nerves. Like you said, a person can see that something is wrong, so you just keep checking back until it is working again.

What I discovered, looking at the post times on all of the last posts, was all posting seemed to have stopped Thursday morning around 8:25 a.m. (my time). Once I realized that, then I knew something was up.

When I posted the "Testing the forum" message, I'm sure glad I didn't say anything derogatory, now that it has gone live! lol
