Holy camoli! Just when I thought PBL was going to be a complete waste of time, I get an email this morning notifying me that I have a new subscriber! Then, I logged into GetResponse to see it there, and lo and behold, I had TEN subscribers! I guess I should turn notifications of those on so I can see them coming in! ZOMG! That is so freakin cool! I didn't even realize I had that many people! WOOHOO! |

I have been a member of PBL for over a year now and during that long period I have got such emails notifying new subscribers very few in number countable only with fingers of one hand.

I apologize for my ignorance, but what's PBL? I got 100+ subscribers in my SFI, but none is paying. really sad. |

Well, if you can count your PBL subscribers in a year on one hand, is it really worth it? In that case, I might just stick out the free trial and then cancel. Also, I set GetResponse to notify me of subscribers and send me a daily report but I have not received any emails from them. Richard, PBL is Push Button Leads, which you will read about in your 30 days to success training. It's a site that is supposed to help build your newsletter subscriber list. |

I used PBL and don't recommend it. I didn't receive any leads. It's best to focus on other ways of lead generation. I'm participating in giveaways at the moment. I have had about 6 subscribers today - it's not great but if I get that daily i'll be happy - especially as i've only been at it 18 days!

Yes, zhuuraan you are right it is really not worth to pay monthly to PBL and wait for leads to be delivered and meet with dissapointment. Buying leads from say Getresponse is much better than that.

I'm glad someone got something with PBL. All I got was no subscribers and aggravation because they charged me even though I canceled my membership in time. Repeated emails from me were never answered, although I did get their email telling me I was being charged for another month. That came two days after I had canceled. My credit card company gave me their phone number and guess what? No answer, not even voicemail, it just keeps on ringing. Do not waste your money with this so-called service.

Just a note: PBL is a reputable company Stone has partnered with for years. People do not understand the difference between an email list where you buy "leads" and someone who responds directly to your ad. It is like night and day. It's quality vs quantity. Having said that I know many people do not get much from PBL - for whatever reason, and I have seen the negative remarks for years; but then where can you buy "leads" cheaper than $15? (don't bother to answer that - they are mostly crap whether you pay 1 penny or 1 dollar or more). Getresponse leads are half way decent because they are double opt-in when you get them and you don't lose out when they don't confirm since they already have. It is not really odd that billing is queued in advance and that if you cancel too close to the billing date the payment will go through. They do issue refunds when this happens.** (normally) I have said over and over and I am a living example who can document this - that 44% of email is never delivered. This is not some dreamed up number. This is a widely known fact in the email marketing industry. (and is worse than previous which was 40%, thank you creepy trolls). You have to give companies the benefit of the doubt - and retry every 48 hours - any company that does bulk mailing may be snared by spam filters as the filters can't tell the difference - the algorhythm is similar = multiple mails sent in rapid succession - among other things... e.g., An affiliate program can be blacklisted due to their members spamming and be quite innocent themselves. **Bottom line is this. Recently (for a few months) Bryan Winters is experiencing serious personal and system problems. This has really made all of the above much worse than normal. While this is no excuse to people who are out money, he is a good guy in spite of his maybe bad judgment in his time of trouble. Everybody is human and nobody is perfect. Stone has agreed to remove PBL from the training at least temporarily until Bryan has resolved his issues and is back in the saddle. |

Then I reread Stone's info in the success guide and decided, well, if it is really that good, I'll try it a little longer. Although, I must say their business practices raised some question in my mind. Yet, this isn't the first time an online business has continued to charge me after I canceled. So, I'm going to give PBL another chance and will report back to the Forum after a few weeks. -Shelia | |
