I would like to submit my PIPS site to Dmoz.com. But as I was trying to feel in the information, I got stuck on identifying the right category for the kind of site I have. I would therefore like to get some guidance on the appropriate category for PIPS sites. Does anyone know?

DMOZ do not like sites with lots of affiliate links, so unfortunately it might be difficult to get your site accepted no matter what category you try and list it under.

I dont think you can submit your PIPS site to dmoz. Dmoz doesn't accept any affiliate site in my opinion.

Here again people giving advice and don't know the question. PLUG-IN PROFIT SITE IS NOT JUST AN 'AFFILIATE SITE' - IT IS A TOP LEVEL DOMAIN INDIVIDUALLY OWNED DOMAINS/WEBSITES OWNED BY EACH OF OUR MEMBERS (we ALSO HAVE an affiliate SALES PAGE and you are right, don't bother.) The Plug-In Profit Site members have THEIR OWN REGISTERED DOMAIN AND A WEBSITE They also have a corporate affiliate sales page. For example: a Plug-In Profit Site WEBSITE: http://www.homebusinessideas.com For example: a Plug-In Profit Site AFFILIATE SALES PAGE: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/main-0 |

I get your opinion but what are the facts? Is there no affiliate site that has ever been listed by Dmoz? Much it's said like that, I am yet to get the reasons as to why they don't. Thanks for sharing. |
