Very new PIPS member!

Hi all!

I joined SFI this passed May and hit EA status quickly. I really enjoy the program and Stone Evans happens to be in my upline.

I'd already heard about PIP and The Empower Network, and I've been on Stone's mailing list for a while too. So when I saw the announcement that he just added The Empower Network to PIP in addition to already having SFI in PIP, I had to jump in with both feet. ;)

Now, I didn't join the 7 minute workout program or the Dot something X whatever. I did sign up for The Empower Network and of course the GoGVO, registered a domain name (and thought it was cool that PIP is actually a GoDaddy reseller so I'm really familiar with the back end operation of that system), and I was also already a member with TrafficSwarm.

When I say very new, I mean it hasn't even been 24 hours so my new site/blog isn't ready yet. I expect to get my email confirmation that I'm ready to go sometime tomorrow morning.

My plan is to use the heck out of PIP to primarily promote The Empower Network and SFI because those are the two systems that I want to concentrate on. I also need to promote my bookmarks business so I can bring it up to showing at least six months of steady, solid revenue so I can sell it. I won't sell it until I can put at least a 5-digit price tag on it.

But anyway, being "relatively" new to MLM/network marketing (think Amway back in the 70s LOL), what are everyone's absolutely best tips for aggressive, yet CHEAP advertising and marketing to grab affiliates for any one, if not all, of these top three programs?

Also, I absolutely have to earn at least the $67/mo it's going to cost me next month or my husband's going to make me cancel everything. I promised him and myself that if I can't make at least $67 with what seems to be THE top programs today, then something must be wrong with ME, not the program.

So like I said, I'm jumping into this with both feet. My husband signed up for SFI under me, mainly because it was free to join, and he's really enjoying it. So I want to use PIP to help get more affiliates on my downline so I can reassign them to him to help his business.

So far we're both ECAs as well as having things listed on our TripleClicks members area. But as yet, only two of my CSAs and only one of my own three PSAs are doing much, and that one PSA would be my husband. LOL

Anyway, I'm here trying to get a jumpstart on this program because while I need to be aggressive, I don't need to be spending a ton of cash either. I can maybe afford $5 or $10 here and there, depending on bookmarks sales that come in (that's what allowed me to sign up today, a nice bookmarks order came in just in time!).

In fact, I didn't have the $100 to upgrade on The Empower Network. I'm only at the $25 level. I'm going to have to see if I can upgrade later, or if that was only a one-shot opportunity and now that's gone.

So any tips or tricks you can pass my way that would get me moving on the right track - besides the 30-day training, which I'm used to doing from completing SFI's 30-day LaunchPad, would be really, really appreciated!

Thanks so much!

To everyone's success ~

Karen

(And while I was reviewing this, I just got a new PSA signup!! And she's actually a bookmarks customer! Pays to have your email signature in place! Woo hoo!)

Thanks Jeff!!

Earlier this evening I started unsubscribing from a bunch of "IM guru" lists so I'm not distracted in my journey. :D

Welcome to PIPS. I have liked the way you have decided not to spread wide by promoting many programs at the beginning. It will help you to be focused.

Thanks goleza!

Yes, I can get distracted very, very easily. I'm one who needs a certain bit of "structure," which is why I liked SFI so much. You have a plan that you follow every day, and it's become something that I do every day, even weekends. And when I saw that it was how PIP was set up too, with structured training so you're learning something new every day, that's what made me sign up.

So I'm all set up now!

I exported all of my articles from my other blog, partnerwithksmusselman.net and imported them into the new PIP blog.

Once I get through more of the training, I’ll be blowing the dust off some of my PLR articles and posting them too. I also want to go through the newly imported former articles and freshen them up and add my affiliate links for The Empower Network, SFI and the Plug-In Profit site.

At least now I won’t feel like all the of hard work and writing I’ve been doing for the last FOUR YEARS, starting with an old general transcription site that I built with SiteBuildIt back in '08 and sold two years later, is going to go to waste! I have a REAL outlet for it now that will actually start making me some money instead of taking up space on the “Interwebs.” (I love that word that Andy Jenkins coined 'Interwebs." LOL)
