I have joined PIPS 12 days back only. I am writing articles daily mostly in my blog and pinging. My question is when I searched google for keyword ie., school of affiliate marketing, my site is in the first page. Whether school of affiliate marketing is a good keyword or not. Whether it is a good achievement or anybody can attain this for this keyword. Kindly guide me, Thanks |

Hi, It is great that you are blogging daily - I am sure you will see some great results with this. I recommend using the Google keyword tool to pick a keyword to blog about: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal If I look up "school of affiliate marketing" there is not enough data, which usually means that nobody is searching for this term. For blog posts you probably want to pick something that is relatively uncompetitive e.g. something that has 100 or a few hundred searches per month. When you use the Google keyword tool choose "all countries and territories" and choose "Exact" from the match menu after you have submitted your query. Cheers, Suzanne |

Hi Dreamzgold, Getting website indexed in Google is the first step and glad that you've accomplished your first goal. The next step is to rank for the profitable keyword i.e the keyword that people are actually searching for everyday. This is important as it will determine whether people will find your website. As Suzanne suggested, Google keyword tool is a great tool which I personally use in picking up the good keyword for my niche websites. Although the data generated by this keyword tool is not 100% accurate , It's however provide a very useful benchmark for me to decide profitable keywords. Jinmin |

Hi you must be able to make your site more content filled not just by promoting or anything else. Because some visitors don't like it. They like the quality of the site not the site itself.

Hello, What I do now with all of my websites is compile a keyword list using Google Adwords Keyword tool. Ill enter the root keywords of the niche I am searching for. So for example Ill type in Home Business. Then the tool will give me all these results and I sort them in rank from Approx Avg Search Volume. What I look for in these results are search terms that have around 1,000 searches per month and I will copy and paste those results into Google using quotes. If the results in Google show 20,000 or less, then I know I will be able to rank relatively easy and quickly for those keywords. So I write it down and move on to test more keywords until I compile a nice list. When I go to write a blog post, I'll just simply pull a topic from the keyword list I have. Heres a tip that will ensure that your post will stick on page one...for good... So you have a post already published on your blog or website using the keywords from your list. Now what you should do is write an article on the same topic, submit it to EzineArticles and in the authors resource box, leave an anchor link with the same keywords as your blog post that points back to that same blog post. Make sense? This is a great way to land some free quality traffic...forever! Rinse and repeat and get even more traffic. Cheers, Matt |
