Need help on selling. Any suggestions?

Hi all! I have a big problem. I have been with SFI for just over a month now and PIPS for just under that. In that time, I have gotten 7 SFI affiliates, most of which are inactive already, 1 of whom also joined TrafficSwarm and WebProsperity under me, so I can assume they joined those through PIPS. Clearly 7 SFI affiliates and 1 of them in other programs isn't bad in a month's time for a total newbie and I am proud of that, plus I have 35 subscribers on my newsletter which I am happy about too.

My problem is selling. I haven't sold a single product, unless you count my own purchasing of IAHBE to get EA status on SFI. Other than taht I have had 0 luck selling. Just today I picked out several products from TripleClicks and sent them to my list in a broadcast, so that might turn a few results, but so far that's the best I've been able to do.

I also contacted my upline yesterday, all of them, but so far have only heard back from one who only referred me to training materials on the site which I have already read and were of limited aid. As yet I haven't heard from the others, and one of the emails got kicked back because of a bad email address.

Anyway, I am still waiting to hear from my upline and see what they say. I figured they'd want to help because if I make money, so do they, and I can't duplicate nothing in my downline, duplicating nothing is still nothing. I have to have some kind of success to pass to my downline.

I didn't expect to see super fast success in the least, but I haven't even made a single sale or for that matter seen anyone take interest as yet. I just feel like if I can get some advice on how to get a few products selling, I will be on track for the success and be able to help my downline. I imagine the 5 inactive ones probably gave up so quickly because they couldn't figure it out. If I have something to pass along, perhaps fewer of them will drop out.

I realize that I should expect at least 9 out of 10 to drop out, and I am prepared to accept that, or maybe even more while I'm new and still learning myself. Still, if I can provide at least enough information to help them, I may be able to minimize the drop-outs and help them succeed too.

So, I am appealing to PIPS members since the majority of you are likely in SFI and selling TripleClicks products. Any advice you can give me would be nice. Now I realize some people don't want to tell everyone their methods for fear of them being flooded and losing their potency, and I understand that, but I can use all the help I can get. If you don't want to post publicly, feel free to shoot me a PM, but I am sure there are plenty of other people on this forum who have some of the same questions and concerns that I do, so being able to gain a better understanding of the strategies used by other more experienced members would go a long way toward helping all of us achieve success.

I hope this hasn't been too long for you guys, but I really could use a hand. I don't need a hand hold, just a push in the right direction.

Btw, warm marketing is definitely NOT one of my strong points!

My suggestion to make is you must make a PPC or a banner campaign with landing page to your website. And it must be eye catching to your visitors. Or you could hire someone to promote your product.

All of which cost money, which I don't have being that I am on SSI. I need free solutions.

And as for hiring someone to sell them, that's why we are affiliates. WE are paid to sell the products. Precisely why I need alternatives.

Maybe when I am actually selling something and getting money in I can do some of that other stuff, but definitely not for now.

Hi zhuraan,

This is my plan for my site and you could probably do something similar.

I will find an affiliate program/product related to PIPS or biz opp and write a review. You can either blog about it or include it in your site as a permanent page, perhaps under the category "Product Reviews".

Or, write a review or maybe tell a story about your experience with a product from let's say TripleClicks and blog about it with a link direct to the exact landing page to that product.

Remember, people don't want to be sold...but we are open to listen to "unbiased" reviews, opinions or first-hand experiences.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

Good luck.

Oh yeah, that's a good idea! The only problem is I'd have to have used the product and I need to drive traffic to my site first, but I could do one about the IAHBE since that's what I'm using to be EA. I was also thinking about sending the broadcast I sent to the newsletter out once every month or two so that new subscribers could see it. Whatever I do I'll have much better luck when I move and have a little more easy access to navigating and all. It's kind of annoying around here.

Hi,

Robert gave you a good idea. There are all kinds of products that you can review for SFI for example and target specific keywords in these reviews....

There are plenty of free ways to advertise your business it just takes some creativity...

Take care
