Hi. I have had a few people on the helpdesk this week that have added 30 articles at one time to their blog. This is a very bad idea for a few reasons. #1 - Your blog is shut down for 'spamming' - you then need to request a review and politely explain what you were doing and did not intend to "spam". Hopefully Google will agree to reinstate your blog, although this is downtime for your blog until they respond. (I have seen this take up to 2 weeks) To their robots it looks like spam when someone serial posts - that is post one after the other in rapid succession. You need a human to look at the facts, hence the review. #2 - the purpose of having articles or blog posts is to create backlinks and to have fresh content. You are wasting the opportunity to have 30 DAYS of fresh content by adding 30 articles all at once. Add them one a day for the maximum benefit. Not sure if something Stone has said somewhere has gotten interpreted to add all your articles at once. I know Dustin didn't say it because I called him today. (the person in trouble today said he was loading the articles he got from the co-op) |

I haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble, but I can understand. I know it does say somewhere to build backlinks and the more the better, but I did also see somewhere not to build them too rapidly, but rather to build up some momentum. I have the 30 PLR articles I got that I am working on rewriting and I am going to post them to my blog as well as some of my other posts from my blogger one that I will be removing, but I'll do that over time. I was also going to do some article submission, but only one or two articles at a time. I agree they should spread out those 30 articles over a month, or at least over 2 weeks and do like 2 per day. |

Interesting Pat. Would this also apply to a Wordpress self hosted blog? - or any self hosted blog for that matter - probably not, but I guess you would still get penalized with the backlinks. Graham |

If you are using that strategy you are better off to do what Pay says and space them out. I personally have done 5-10 fresh articles in a day, but by the time I write one, and social bookmark it, there is time between them before I do the next one. If you are using a Blogger blogging platform do what Pat says and you will not have any problems.

... and yes the same principle applies to wasting an oppotunity to have 30 days of fresh content by using all 30 articles on one day.
