Ref-number of the PIPS Opt-In pages
Share on:

Hi there,

could anybody help me here? The opt-in pages of the Plug-In Profit site (www...pop1.html to www...pop11.html) are quite nice and I would like to split test them, but they have all the same REF number (501) in the getresponse form and hence I don't know from which of the pages the sign-up comes from...
I could copy the code and paste it to my own domain www.moneymaking-business.com, but then the Verisign certification doesn't work (probably I could ty to get this certification myself, but that might be expensive. I haven't checked though).
Does anybody know how to sort that out? I think the only way is to change it in the initial source (e.g. 501 for pop1.html, 502 for pop2 and so on), but we can't change pages under the pluginprofitsite.com domain, can we?

I asked Patricia from the PIPS help desk, but she couldn't help me there and recommended me to post in the forum.

Thanks anyway and all the best!!

Peter

Hi Bill,

thanks, at least someone who answered:-)

Pat, I already asked you this question on the support desk, could you ask Stone or someone of his tech guys to do that?

Thanks and all the best!!

Peter - I'm sorry but this would be considered 'custom design' and we don't do it - If you want something special you will probably need to do that yourself.

If Stone sees it differently than he normally would then I am sure he will let you know. (I will send the request).

If there is no response then that is his way of saying either 'Sorry' or 'no thanks'.'

Sorry no techies around the forum or anyone who has ever done what you want to do before.

Usually the forum is the best place for most issues as there are so many years of experience here among all the members.
