Tweeting old blog posts
 

Good morning all :)

Part of my usual morning timetable before I head off to my day job, is to check my emails, check forum posts and check for any comments on my blogs.

This morning differed slightly in as much as I started browsing some old blog posts over a year old...then I had a eureka moment!

I thought why not tweet these posts to my now substantial following on twitter. I tweeted 2 old posts I made about the plug in profit site.

It is litterally 10 minutes since I did this and already have had 8 visitors following those tweets.:D

I have to run to my day job now and will explore this some more when I return.

I definitely use Twitter to tweet and retweet old blog posts, past Twitter tweets and all sorts of things! It helps to create more variety in my tweets and it simplifies the process of finding things to tweet. Great idea.

It's a great way to get traffic. There's also a nice WP plugin to automatically tweet your WP posts:

I did that as well Graham. I tried to mostly Tweet old posts that offered useful information and were not too sales oriented. It is a good way to increase your update total as well.
