Stone - I Want To Play Follow My Leader

Hi Stone,

I am not sure whether you feel this is appropriate for the PIPS forum, as the main purpose of the forum is to focus on pips and it's associated programs.

However, I am curious. As an entrepreneur, you undoubtedly have other irons in the fire. I doubt that you rely soley on PIPS as your main income.

I have noticed of late, a distinct lack of activity within the forum and was wondering if you had any other opportunities you would care to share with your followers.

Something to get the buzz back into pips!

Graham

Well just don't hold your breath, Graham. LOL.

Just because I said that, Stone may show up here and reply....

He has been working on a major overhaul of the training and working on SEO for the pluginprofitsite domain (where the sales page lives).

That is about all I know - he has been extremely remote the past few months (since he started working on the training). I rarely hear from him myself but know he is alive because once in a while he forwards an email that is something that should have been sent to the helpdesk, for me to respond to.

If I have learned anything from Stone and being a PIPS member it is that we are all in business for ourselves. We are our own leader and as such there are no limits -- and of course there are those Warriors including the PPG who put themselves out there to 'partner' with us if we feel the need to 'partner'.

If I had my way we would have a weekly or at least monthly web conference. I belong to one other program that does have that and the CEO conducts the meeting - it is VoIP so other than time differences it is accessible internationally to all the members for free.

They consistently get at least 100 people every week. (of course with 30k members that is not great, but it means 100 have a pulse). Judging by this forum participation we could expect maybe 10 on a good day.

The point is though that it makes the group seem like a group more than a forum does.

Yes, I understand that we are in business for
ourselves, but I think a little what's up now and
then wouldn't hurt...

Besides, when you join a program like this one
you would think the founder would want to be
involved other than behind the scene!

Anyway, good thought Graham..

And I'm only wanting to help, no bashing was intended!

Cheers,

That would be a brilliant addition to PIPS Pat, maybe if we set up a poll to see how many other PIPSters would feel the benefit.

Also, what about a monthly contest of some sort....try to keep the motivation in the forum. The last one that Stephen Meyer ran was a great success (How is Stephen by the way? Have you heard from him? If you do speak to him , please give him my regards)

I am sure there are many other ideas members could come up with to the benefit of all.

Well, unfortunately it is not up to me, Graham. It is still Stone's program. I have suggested it, he didn't see the value, so that is it. I am sure he believes especially now with PPG in place for those who need one-on-one, that there is no need. (...and he would have to pay for the room)

I am actually worried about Stephen Meyer and was going to post a 'anybody seen him' -

He did start to recover in that when he sold his sites and with our contributions was able to just miss the homeless shelter by a splinter - He got a nice room in someone's home and had found a new trucking job. He had rented a laptop and was starting to work on some sites again.

However, then he suddenly disappeared completely - I have him on my instant messenger and he hasn't logged on for at least a month. He doesn't respond to my emails, either.

I am real worried because his health isn't good, especially after what he had gone through recently, with his marriage, etc., and of course all kinds of things go through your mind when you are worried.

So I am just praying he will turn up again some day and let us know what is happening...

Think of something, Graham and we will do it. Personally I like the ones that encourage/motivate people to blog or comment - anything that has a higher purpose such as that which promotes our businesses.

I would support it in whatever small way I can - if nothing else to brainstorm and/or 'consult' on the plans and make it a sticky when it is launched.

Maybe you could start a thread and ask for suggestions and appeal to people to donate prizes...

I got a feeling that Stone will come back with some powerful weapon for us PIPSters.
