My 1,000th post... I have nothing to say :o)
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I reached 1,ooo.... a couple more and I'll reach our
awesome big sis Pat, you know the one that keeps us
in check!

Well, I have been thinking on how I could make this
post memorable....

Here it goes:

I've seen allot of people come in this forum over the
years and I have given my advice or 2 cents whether
someone needed or wanted it!

I have learned over the years that helping people is a
good feeling to have. I first started venturing looking
for a way to make money from home back in 2002. I
remember the first thing that I ever signed up for
secret2success and it cost $200. I read everything that
was provided, it said that you could be making $5,000
a week just by sending out emails.

Of course that didn't work out so much. I didn't have a
clue on what to do... I didn't know anything about building
a website or setting up a sig. in email. So, I ventured out
looking on HOW to do things and try to learn what was
needed! I would mess around a month here then take a few
months off.

Every winter I would tell myself, 'This is the year' that I'll
learn how to make money from the Internet! I had joined
SFI in 2005 but I didn't do much with it, I didn't have
a plan of attack!

From 2002 to Feb. 2007 I was one of those affiliate jumpers!
You know, sign-up; not make money within the first month or
two then jump to the next big promise.

In 2007 I found PIPS and after a few months I felt the same
feeling inside, this doesn't work either! I thought I wasn't
smart enough or wasn't learning the right things. But this time
instead of moving to the next big thing... I started over!

I went back through the 30 day success plan and really
studied each day, I would spend days; on each day until I
understood it! I figured out how much I would spend each
month and I stuck to it! I made a budget I would learn each
method of advertising and not move on to the next until I
was good at it!

I then took my knowledge that I have learned here and built
my business the way it is explained in the 30 days. It wasn't
over night.... But, boy was it worth it! The plan works; if you
work the plan!

I learned that you need to brand yourself; and for me, I get
my joy out of helping people just like me...

I like helping the newbie, letting them know that everyone that
started out was in the same predicament as they are...

Confused with information overload!

Therefore, I would like to inform everyone that reads this; but is
afraid to ask that question because they think it's a stupid
question or they think that nobody cares how they're doing with
their business... Ask, because I care and I know exactly how
you feel! And there are plenty of other Pipsters that feel the
same way as I do, trust me!

Remember; a stupid question, is a question never asked!

Enjoy life, be happy and build your business one block at a time!
Your foundation will be much stronger that way!

Best of luck,

Bill Shultz

Congratulations, Bill!

Great post. Your helpful spirit is always appreciated and you have really been 'stepping up' and keeping some life here in the mausoleum.

Keep up the good work. Look forward to the next 1000.

One of my favorite sayings these days is 'virtue is its own reward'.

Think about it - it makes a complete circle...

(in other words whether or not people appreciate all the time you spend helping them, whether or not it ever represents a dime, doesn't matter. You are blessed.)

Well done Bill, I am a newbie and did almost the same as you in my previous years and then in March I came across PIPS and have done my 30 days.

Now you have inspired me to go back to the beginning and do as you did.

Thanks for the great advice and I have found the forum great to visit. You all seem a fine bunch.

Bill,

May I have some money?

J/k. Great work. you have given some great advice and if I remember correctly I think you were the first person that I asked questions to way back when.

Thanks,
Matt

Congrats Bill, Looks to me like you do a lot of typing to get that many posts. From what I can see you have a long long way to catch up to Patricia.
But your story is an inspiration to us newbies and probably to a lot of not so newbies that are trying to stick it out.

Thanks for all the help and encouragement that you give. I look for your posts just to see what you have to say on a subject so that I can see if it will help me.

CONGRATS again

Bright Blessings
