Hi - I have been getting lots of complaints at the helpdesk about the initial process to sign up for Lawn Chair Millionaire.

So I have finally canned my message and hope that people will see my response here and not need to contact the helpdesk to get it resolved.

I agree with you on one hand and appreciate your feedback.

However we have no control over other entities (programs). We are Affiliates in the same sense that you are; and PIPS is a conduit. Ultimately it is your business and your choices. You are running your own business.

I know in my experience that most websites have support/helpdesk/contact links. I am giving you the only information that I have available. Granted plenty of people are having problems with signing up.

(IF Activation process was successful, and the person did sign up, they would at this juncture have an AFFILIATE-ID that would become part of the Affiliate URL.)

When I tested it myself: I immediately received a confirmation email with the activation code and a link to click to apply the code and get to the application.**

There had originally been a link at the sponsor's affiliate link URL for people to use if they did not receive their activation code. The code would be resent to the email address they input there.*

* "~90%" of the time (in most cases) email communications are the problem, in situations like yours.

That is why it is important to give merchants the benefit of the doubt. Try and try again.

24-72 hours is a reasonable time to wait for customer service. If no response, repeat and rinse.

Industry Standard for several years is in the range of 40% email undeliverablity.

(This is where I always recommend Google Mail (Gmail.com) - but since you have it already, that is more than likely not the issue in your case.)

I recommend that anyone from any other email service that has issues with receiving mail from businesses get a Gmail account as they do not block mail. They can tell the difference between spam and legal bulk mail. They just put it all in the folders.

I really don't know what else to say. If you find something when you finally communicate with them, that I don't know, please advise so I can share that information with others. (**test did not include signing up, only the initial transaction.)

You are free to do anything you would like to your website. We do not do custom design in this regard. You can add or change or for that matter remove whatever you choose.

(Our sales page however will remain with the 5-6 core programs, and may only change at Stone's discretion).

You can do it yourself, or learn to do it yourself, or we do have some resources/partners that will help you for a small fee.

May I suggest you contact their support or their management and advise them that you have customers unable to sign up and more importantly, unable to get any response to requess for support by email.

I think this is a real negative.....by virtue of purchasing the pips system I am promoting a company I now have no confidence in - or, can you remove the LCM from my site so I am not doing that?

The experience I have had with them so far shows no willingness to assist potential customers.....should I really promote a company with that attitude? Prefer not to.

I am a newby just setting up all my accounts through PIPS.

Can anyone tell me is Lawn Chair Millionaire worth subscribing to?

Any tips on getting setup would be greatly appreciated as it is a very daunting task.

Welcome to the PIPS forum!

It is early days with Lawn Chair Millionaire as it was only added to PIPS at the end of last month. In terms of commissions they are pretty good and pay $20 instantly when someone signs up through your link then $15 a month recurring income. So far since joining I have made a few hundred dollars commission and have not had any issues with anything.

If you are on a tight budget you don't need to feel that you have to join LCM - you can always wait until you are in profit and sign up later if you want to. The cost is $49.99 admin charge to join and $29.99 a month.

I have not been able to sign in to LCM with my current info.
What is the problem? Is anyone else having this problem?
I am a Newbie to PIPS and still confused? maybe. I'm willing to learn.
