Considering joining Plug-in Profit Site
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Not sure why this site is singled out on here when there are several other similar programs. Anyway, I'm not a member but received an email to get started and am thinking about it. I am wondering if this really is a good one and not a scam. The reviews I've seen are mixed(maybe about 70 percent positive and 30 percent negative). You never know who to trust but I figure if it was that bad would it be on here let a lone have it's own forum. Please give me feedback as to whether this one really is the real deal and if it is how much will it cost to join. Thanks

Hi Mikej

Here are some recent testimonials.

Plug-In Profit Site Reviews

Being that PIPS is a free service and in business over 10 years now, I would guess the 30% expected magical instant results without doing any work. From what I have seen the ones that post negative stuff are the ones who never even gave it a chance, and were humiliated by their own stupidity at thinking they could get something for nothing -- which brings me to my favorite saying which is 'no program works unless we do'.

Thanks Patrician for your input. Is it really 100 percent free though or are there some hidden costs or costs that are not directly related to the site etc? I can't imagine it being totally free.

It really is free - however although we will give you everything you need to start a business online free, and without any obligation, we can't pay for your hosting and domain name. So if there is a catch that is it. It's under $10 a year for a domain name registration, and $10 a month for hosting with GVO Host Then Profit. The host is the only required program of the 5 that represent our core program.

Catch: The 5 affiliate programs including Host Then Profit are your multiple sources of income from your business, so while they are optional (join now, later or never), we recommend joining as many as you can comfortably afford to maximize your potential. Your sponsor - whichever of our members you sign up under at http://www.pluginprofitsite.com would earn commissions when you join, just exactly as you would when you are the sponsoring PIPS member.

Our training includes recommendations for free and optional paid services to help you promote your business - so catch: we MIGHT make a few dollars there IF you decide to take Stone's advice in that regard.

Here is the canned version of all that +

===============================================

The Plug-In Profit Site is a free service and will provide you with a website including a Wordpress blog, free training online, a sales page like the one at pluginprofitsite.com, and the follow-up '400 Days' autoresponder newsletter series, all branded with your information; (also several bonus offers).

Plug-In Profit Site is an Internet Affiliate Marketing System.
---------------------------
The only requirement for signing up is having your own Domain Name Registration ($1.99-9.99 per year)** * and a HostThenProfit/GVO affiliate hosting account ($1 first week(s) and $10 per month afterwards). All other costs are optional.

Join as many affiliate programs as you can afford now, and/or you may also prefer to join some after you become a member of Plug-In Profit Site. The affiliate programs are the source of your potential commissions.
---------------------------

Note from Stone Evans:
What is the TOTAL cost required to sign up today?

First of all, my service to build your website and teach you how I make money online is 100% free. The ONLY requirement to receive my service is a domain name that you register or transfer here. This can be done for as little as $1.99 for a .info domain name and a HostThenProfit/GVO affiliate account (for hosting the site @ $1 trial).

That said, I recommend a .com domain which is easier to promote for just $9.91. Either way, registering a domain name here is the only requirement to receive my full service and getting a FREE hosting account for your website from your GVO affiliate membership.”

The affiliate programs are all optional and you can join any of them you want at whatever level you choose. These are the 5 programs SFI, DotcomSecretsX, 7 Minute Workout, Empower Network, HostThenProfit/GVO that I've developed into an automated system for helping you make money on the Internet so the more programs you do join, the more money you will be setup to make from your website.

I've learned over the years that it is very important to develop multiple streams of income because if one dries up or goes away, you'll have others that are still supporting you financially. These programs are the best out of 100's I've tested over the years.

Best regards,
Stone Evans

*** Required:***”

so the DNS will be set automatically to GVO and we can proceed to build a website there for you within 24-48 hours.

NOTE: We will only be able to accept domains registered elsewhere <<

Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.GVODNS.COM
NS2.GVODNS.COM

Register for the GVO/HTP affiliate program for hosting - at least $1 trial offer - (free trial does not include hosting)

I'm still considering joining PIP. However, I have at least one major concern. On some other threads on this site I have read some rather negative feedback about GVO. Apparently there are much better hosting sites than this one and many people on here(our fellow warriors)have had bad experiences with it. So I'm wondering if there is a way to use PIP without using GVO or maybe GVO is sufficient enough for the purposes of PIP.

To be honest I can't understand why a forum such as this one would have a separate section for a program that has as it's requisite a host site that many on here do not like and as been rated poorly. Therefore I'm wondering if there are similar programs to PIP that are recommended(strange asking that here I know but this site ultimately is suppose to be about having success and not promoting a business just for the sake of promoting a business right?).

First of all we like GVO - and Host Then Profit is the one program that is required for PIPS. No other host is possible right now - we usually have one host that is required and there are always very good reasons why only one host is accepted.

Right now it is GVO Host Then Profit.

Hi Mikej413,

I regret my decision of leaving PIPS now!

Hi Amreen.

You would always be welcomed back if you are ever interested.

Time and again people come back - even after years! Some over and over.

I call them the 'Returners' - I love it because it is like they really realize there are not a lot of programs like PIPS that give and give and doesn't require anything in return.

Hello again,

I just tried to join just now. However, when I went to try to pay for the GVO it said that "the recipient is unavailable to receive payment" or something like that so I wasn't able to go through with it. Not sure what to do now.

Update:

Ok. It looks like I can only pay the 99 dollars yearly and not monthly. Unfortunately I am not able to(financially)do that at this point. I would consider it if I was guaranteed to make at least that with this in a week but of course there are no guarantees. It's just too much of a long shot for me to gamble that way at this point. I am still interested though so we'll see. Hopefully soon I'll be able to make this work. I see that for some reason it was only paypal where I received that message and I could pay using my debit card but again not for 99 dollars(and yes I do understand there is a one dollar trial but then it goes to 99 dollars a year one time payment). Oh well.

I talked to the woman at GVO on the phone and it turns out that I can pay monthly but for 9 something a month. So that issue has been resolved. However, it still looks like I will only be able to use my debit card for this and not paypal(unfortunately).

However, there is something that I still don't understand. And that is it seems that although SFI is one of the companies funneled through PIP it is not hosted by GVO or even mentioned on the GVO site. So what I would like to know is how is SFI (and also empower network for that matter)promoted(or sponsored if that's more accurate)if they aren't part of GVO. Maybe PIP just offers a blogging platform for them and that is good enough. I don't know. I did send a ticket in to PIP asking them this so hopefully I will get an answer. Thanks.

I think I answered this on the helpdesk -

The programs are associated through Plug-In Profit Site. We will build you a website and a sales page that has the 5 core programs - SFI is one of those.

There is no association between SFI and GVO or any other program except PIPS - at least for our purposes.

You join the programs you want and get the domain and hosting - the Plug-In Profit Site website(s) has your affiliate IDs for all the programs you join and there are ads for each one on your programs on the site - if someone joins PIPS they may join 1-5 of the programs under you - Or they may not join PIPS but only want to join SFI under you - or some other program by itself. Either way they can do that from your website or sales page or newsletter (we will build for you).

Actually there is a connection between GVO and seven minute workout and pure leverage but I now realize that's because the guy who runs GVO also runs those other two.

Right - GVO is GVO - still not related to SFI, EN, DCSX, etc.

DCSX is no longer part of PIP though.Right? Wasn't it replaced with Pure Leverage? The PIP site I am on has Pure Leverage instead of DCSX. It seems that some people on here would like EN replaced too. Not sure if that will happen though.

Yes Mike you are right. However when something is removed from our sales page (the core program) it does not necessarily mean everybody removes it from their PIPS website. Just as it is fine to add programs to your own domain (PIPS website) that have nothing to do with our core, most people will continue with a program like DCSX once it has 'fallen out of favor' with Stone Evans.

(Not that it has at all - most of the time he will stay personally with the programs he removes from PIPS - just as in this case - it is a fine program that just doesn't quite fit with PIPS - for one thing in my opinion with this one we have too much of a good thing - too much training and too many blogs (PIPS, EN, DCSX) ).

... Or maybe it is just the cost that is prohibitive - whatever - usually it is about something not flying - members are not getting commissions/sales for that program - sometimes nobody knows why exactly)...

Yes, hopefully Stone makes decisions based on what actually works and is the most profitable(not just from personal experience but from feedback from clients and adjusts accordingly).

Ok, so right now I am in the process of setting up shop(so to speak). I have GVO all set up now I need a domain name for PIP. It says .co and org are 8.99 with net and coms at 8.99 and info is 4.99. Do you know what the difference is between all of these and if it really matters as far as the quality of the website or whatever? I'm guessing this is all based on availability but I really don't know. Thanks.

There is no login until we have processed your application* and there is no login to do that.

The domain site is only to register your domain every year - we are a reseller and have no other association with Wild West Domains (secureserver.net)

So once you have registered the domain just be sure to keep your receipt that has your customer number so next year you can login to renew the registration.

If you have a Host Then Profit hosting account and have the username and password then you just need to go to pluginprofitsite.com and submit the application with the domain and hosting information both being required and the other programs being optional. (if you don't join please leave the sponsor's ID intact in that field).

*Within 24-hours of receiving your application we will build your site etc and send you your username and password for Plug-In Profit Site, etc.

Ok I'm pretty sure I understand now. I'm not sure I understand the "wild west" comment though. They seem pretty legitimate and official to me. Anyway, I do believe I have a host then profit account(through GVO). On their site it says host then profit is in pre launch. Maybe that's an old message and they forgot to take it down. I'm not sure. I definitely did sign up with GVO for hosting though. I now have several links with my id on them that I'm not sure what to do with. Lol.

Update: Ok I think I did everything I could do for the moment. I believe that was you who responded back to me at the help desk so I'll just wait until everything is ready and I can log in.
