Re: Teach yourself html Thanks Mark Atkinson. I have been trying my hand at learning some HTML and from what I can see this link is going to be a great help. Bright Blessings TheTiny1 :):):) |
Re: Teach yourself html That is a good site but dont forget the most powerful one "Google". I have learned how to make websites just from searching Google. I went from not knowing anything to be able to make full websites in 1-2 days... Also, youtube has some great videos. matt |
Re: Teach yourself html thanks Mark for starting html learning topic Quote:
how did you learn to make full websites in 1-2 days ? thanks MBeshr |
Re: Teach yourself html You need to stop fearing the 'code'. At least know the basics like anchoring a link. Its really not that hard. |
Re: Teach yourself html I learned from Stone Evans. Cut and Paste is how we did it back then. I still do not use any software and I build pages from scratch cutting a pasting into a blank file. Of course I love blogging now too which is the easiest way to build a page. |
Re: Teach yourself html and FYI - Darren from Pips help (Pat is that right?) has some really awesome videos you can grab that are specific to altering your pips site! these vids worked great for me and taught me heaps - I highly recommend them - they were like $20 or $30 bucks or around there and well worth the investment. I just kept reading, watching, just pretty much learning everything I could. I created a 14 page website for a client entirely in Flash. I had no clue how to do flash but I studied and tweaked as I went along. I would also stay up to 3-4 in the morning sometimes trying to figure some things out... But its worth it in the long run when you can accomplish hard tasks... Take a challenge and run with it until your eyes bleed and master your objective. Matt |
