I know many of of us use dragon naturally speaking, which is an older and very effective program. Dragon naturally speaking also costs quite a bit. I found a program called e-speaking. This program is Shareware but can be purchased for only $14.00. The software is easy to setup and very intuitive. I hope this helps many of you because it sure beats typing. Just make sure proofread would you say. Ray Owen |

Hi, Ray: I don't use voice recognition software. I prefer typing ... for the accuracy. I think voice recognition would drive me nuts ... okay - nuttyer. However, I know that many people do use software and for some, it gives them a degree of independence they would not otherwise enjoy. So, thanks for posting this info! That's one of the benefits of the forum - sharing insight into resources. GT |
