Free is more work and takes longer to see results.

Paid cost money, but you get quicker results.

To simplify it, all you really need is:

Landing page creator - Opt-in form - collect leads

Build email list - treat your list like human beings

Give value - promote offers - make money

For me it's getting ideas to write about in the first place, I get myself all psyched up to write and I end up staring at a my monitor like a zombie.
