Any FAQ´s you could write about.
Create great content with your visitor in mind rather than creating content for the search...

I would use pages for the main pages of your blog that will not change and the rest put it as a post.
A page will not have a date stamp. A post will show when it was created, posted.

There are so many different ways to get traffic to your website.
Best to not depend on just one way of getting traffic.
