You could also use something like Unique Article Wizard to get the content out there on autopilot. I use that just for backlinks.

Also, start building links to the site with Angela's (from WF)...

Go for the backlink package that Angela here at WF has. It's $5 a month for 30 great PR5-PR8 sites to backlink from. You post the links yourself, but they are great and have boosted my rankings...

I have the same set-up on some of my stuff. Main site is a WP blog, with various squeeze pages.

I have yet to put in an exit pop-up only because I drive ALL of my traffic to my squeeze pages...
