If you have known about the new Algorithm update on Feb 25th sites like ezine, hub pages and so on have lost most of their rankings. It is not wonder that you are facing problem in serps on hub pages...

I don't think as for your post it will have a negative impact for article submission on sites ezine article. Even if the new Algo has negative impacts on those sites that does not mean they are...
