Frankly, I did not find any significant difference between the two, so it won't really matter whether you do both on the same day or not. Just that you should space both schedules out...

That is called Adsense Arbitrage. It used to work well some years back, but personally I wouldn't recommend that any longer, unless your website has lots of solid, original content. Here's why:
