Split test your campains try diffrent things and see what giving you results, i know someone who had success with 10$, if you have already custom audience(email list) use it for your advantage.

With 300$ you can definitely determine if you hit the gold mine or not. Don't spent the 300$ at once first use 50$ to test on campaign and do some split testing. Remember to ALWAYS track your results...

Don't spend all your money in one blow. I normaly test out with $100 bucks and if the offer converts i ramp it up

it all comes down to how well your site converts the customers who click your ads, id do a smaller sample test 1st to see if you need to improve anything

Sure, you can spend as little money as you want on facebook ads. The effectiveness doesn't have anything to do with the amount of money you spend, it is totally dependent on how well your ads are...
