I think a lot of it has to do with as copywriters, we're driven to the creative side of things. When it becomes monotonous, it's not as fun. Especially when you feel you're writing the same stupid...

Personally I prefer to have the clients say that I wrote for
them through a testimonial than me saying that I wrote
for that client.
But name dropping is not my style, but I wouldn't discourage...
