It is overpriced and not as flexibile as hosted Wordpress. Wordpress is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, so I can't see why you would pay the big bucks for WP...

If you are savvy, I don't think you need WP Direct. They charge too much for it, and you can set it all up yourself. If you are not savvy though, and you have the money, it's worth it.

You know, I tried WP direct and while it is an okay product to me, and, they do make setting up a WP blog on your own domain easy, I have found that I was already doing half or more of the things...

The thing I would be concerned about is the fact its hosted on his/her server. etc etc. They are in control and they don't seem to be a hosting provider so that makes me think a little.
