Yes, he did. But that doesn't really make him any less guilty of being a cruel slave owner, hypocrite and racist.

They have a point. Jefferson was a cruel slave owner, hypocrite and racist. He owned hundreds of slaves and could have freed them upon his death but only freed what were likely his own children from...
