Ultimately it comes down to the affiliate to give a good enough reason to order through their affiliate link. Offer bonuses, extra support etc. Otherwise there's always a chance the customer will go...

Spam is not a problem, I just get the odd or two, but when I get a spam comment I email the owner and politely tell them to stop ******* spamming...

Yes, it does attract more spam and yes it does attract more useful comments. Try using it with some kind of spam filter or captcha to cut down on the spam traffic.

I will strongly recommend KOMOONA ADS... This is a plugin for wordpress and they are AWESOME !!!

It will also collect payments and all you need to do is just APPROVE the ad...
