IMO content. A good blog circles around content. You obviously need to do the other stuff as well but the most important thing to me is the content.

6 years ago I was rejected by adsense and that is why I moved to Clickbank - turned out to be the best thing I did in my life! Don't get too hung up on one platform/revenue stream.
