You link to the page that best matches the content you are linking from. If it is generic and not geared to a particular city, then spread them out between the three pages you want to rank higher.

Your links need to point at the exact URL/page you're trying to rank.

You'll lose link authority when you have a buffer page between the backlink and the page you're trying rank.

1) Because most backlink checkers are not that fast in crawling the internet. They don't have the resources that Google does, and Google has said it takes them 3-4 weeks to crawl the entire net....
