How many email addresses did you send out the email to? It is important to compare that to the 38 who opened your email, and the 2 who actually bought your ebook.

Try to do an A/B test between two...

That's a statistically insignificant number. For all you know, it could have been your mom and dad who bought the two products. You'll need a much larger sample to draw any meaningful conclusions.

Sure you can, I have done this myself - what I do though is place the ebook on Amazon, typically use Createspace as well to get print versions for promotion, seminar promotions, fulfill customer...
