If your site was changed to https, make sure you can't get to any non-secure http pages (they should be redirecting to https). Then resubmit your sitemap to search console and wait for Google's bots...

Not a ranking factor - but you have to test don't listen to nobody when it comes to seo. Only by testing you know.

In the Google search console help, there is a post on how to secure your site with https.
There are a few things you need to take care of like setting up 301 redirects, updating robots.txt etc.
