Re: Marketing Budget Allocation

Not only that, but you'd be restricting yourself unnecessarily by splitting your budget in such a way. These days, most businesses need a cross-media marketing strategy, with funds allocated...

Re: Marketing Budget Allocation

If it's just a website, zero on print and 100% on digital. I promise you because we've tried it all, print will get you a big fat ZERO if it is just a website.

If you have a retail store and ...

But, the second part, the critical PART, is how you INTERSECT with...

RE: Marketing Budget Allocation

It depends on your locality & the niche you are targeting. On the whole, you can allocate 50/50 or 40/60 depending on how educated your prospected customers are.
Plus depends on what sort of media...

Re: Marketing Budget Allocation

As detailed by shawnlebrun, it all depends on what kind of business do you run. I personally run online blogs and businesses that don't need print advertisement as of now.

So, my complete...

Re: Marketing Budget Allocation

Jessie,

It all depends on where your ideal customers are located, what
they do, what they read, etc...

Are they older and still read newspapers and magazines?
If so, perhaps display print ads...

Re: Marketing Budget Allocation

Jessie,

Any answers to that question without further inquiry will lead to erroneous results. That's because print vs. digital will depend on variables such as:

Niche
Targeted demographic...

Re: Multiple Company Websites?

I agree!
There is a huge difference between a franchise vs. a subsidiary company.

There are also many other questions that should be evaluated.

Is the franchise limited, by geographic...

Re: Multiple Company Websites?

It depends on your particular agreement, but if you're operating as a franchise, you could probably ditch the standard template and continue developing your own site. However, you'd likely still have...

Re: Multiple Company Websites?

Thank you for your thoughts! I was advised by a corporate brand ambassador to capitalize on both, however, I'm not a fan of the corporate site because we don't have as much control over the content,...

Re: Multiple Company Websites?

First, I question whether you should be asking our opinion, rather than raising the issue with your parent company. It's THEIR decision, and what we think is immaterial.

If the parent company has...

Re: Multiple Company Websites?

I agree with Steve. Further, I think it might be a good idea to ditch the corporate template and get your parent company to link to your main site.

Re: Does posting from Hootsuite carry as much weight for SEO as posting directly from your social pa

I second Jarvee

But social media posts have negligible SEO value nayway, it doesn't matter which platform is posting it for you. It's all the same.

Re: Does posting from Hootsuite carry as much weight for SEO as posting directly from your social pa

I don't know about Hootsuite's SEO potential, but I do know they don't allow you to re-post automatically. There's a bunch of social media managers available. It would seem that AgoraPulse is the...
