Link indexing time depends on some factors. I suppose it's about the trustworthy of source, in the first place, or it's just my experience.

When a godaddy domain has expired - the default godaddy page shows up at the domain. This gets indexed by google and therefore if the domain was ranking for its keywords - it would probably stop...

You have probably used xrummer to much. Xrummer is a mass spam/submission tool. If you abuse it you will get caught out and receive a penalty.
