I wouldn't work with email submits at all. can be profitable for a few days and then scrub hard making you lose a lot of money.

You should focus on increasing your ctr on PPV landing pages , You can easily achieve 25% ctr on ppv ....

I think it's more about how your landing page and offer converts, PPV is just a traffic source.

You will pay $0.02 for a view with PPV (avarage) so even if your converion rate is as low as 2% you...

That depends on the network.
OP, I would suggest creating a landing page if you are doing PPV - your CR will be much better.

I also suggest trying PPV even if it's not for newbies, if you are willing to learn and experiment you can really have success with PPV - don't forget minimum to invest in PPV it's $200
