Yes, that's how I search with SEOquake. It's actually pretty quick searching by request. Make sure the original search query is finished loading (depends on your internet speed).

Don't use public proxies, they are almost always blacklisted by akismet. Don't post comments without a proxy as well, because your home IP will get blacklisted very quickly.

I do exceptionally well with Amazon (4 figures per month). I started doing well when I stopped spending my days chasing high-competition keywords with endless backlinking.
