Yes. Respond to all reviews. Negative and positive. Shows he cares.

As regards the sketchy ones on Yelp, see if they can be removed
by Yelp because they violate TOS, if they do. If not...

You should set up a method for current patients to leave reviews...If its a good review link to Google, yelp. If its a bad review..link to email and handle internally, once a bad review is out there...
