It sounds like you are using the wrong word here ... you are after an article writer vs a copywriter. A world of difference there as copywriters are concerned with copy that gets your product(s)...

Buying contents from freelance copywriters would only work for you and your site if you know the writers personally or you are confident of their work. And you really have to compensate their work....
