Noindex wordpress site?

Hi,

I have a wordpress site, which I'd like not to be indexed. Any plugins or ways to do this?
No pages, etc. should be indexed.

    you can go to Settings >> Reading

    Then check the option 'Discourage search engines from indexing this site'

    You can also use some SEO plugins like 'SEO Ultimate'

    Will the plugins just do the same?

    an alternative way of doing that is upload robots.txt on your website root folder with content:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

    Perfect, thanks guys. It seems that checking the box in the Wordpress settings gives the pages a noindex, so I'll see if that sticks.

      It should stick, view source on your website and you'll see in the <head> tag NoIndex.

      If it doesn't "stick", it's because the search engine isn't obeying the directives. They don't have to, you know.
