Best way for zip file download link

Hi,

I have a wordpress site, where users can download a zip file. At the moment I've just uploaded the file to the media library and a <a href...> link to the file.
However, this results in the browser just trying to open the file directly (and if Mac unzips it right away).
Are there any clever ways to handle this, besides asking the user to right-click and choose 'Save as...'?

Cheers,
Thomas
